Greg Baker, executive director of the Food and Agribusiness Institute, was interviewed KCBS about the annual Hunger Action Summit and research by FAI students that explores collaborative ways to address hunger. The research looked into the amount of produce wasted and food left in the fields. 鈥淚f the farmers have contracts with different stores, they鈥檙e not going to harvest food that they can鈥檛 sell,鈥 said professor Baker.
