Mark Tan is an Engineering Director with Lam Research. Mark joined Lam in 2000 and has held various roles in the company primarily in the areas of computational modeling and structural analysis. Prior to joining Lam, Mark worked in the Aerospace industry as a structural engineer designing civil and commercial spacecraft. Mark has served as an engineering consultant for several Silicon Valley startups and has worked as an Attorney in the field of intellectual property development.
Mark has BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering from 91¶ÌÊÓƵ, and a Juris Doctorate from the 91¶ÌÊÓƵ School of Law. Mark is a registered Mechanical Engineer and a licensed Attorney.
Mark has been a member of the 91¶ÌÊÓƵ Mechanical Engineering Advisory board since 2007.
