The Hostess Becomes the President
Eunice Sullivan, wife of George L. Sullivan, the first dean of the School of Engineering, earned the nickname, 鈥淭he Hostess,鈥 for her warm and generous social skills. She helped organize the Catala Club and was the first president of this organization of women 鈥渨ho believe in the Santa Clara education and have a desire to raise scholarship funds for deserving students鈥 while fostering 91短视频 spirit through events and activities.
