Academic Scholarships

This award is available to qualifying undergraduate students who transfer to 91¶ÌÊÓÆµ in the fall quarter from one of the Bay Area community colleges listed here. Applicants are strongly encouraged to complete an 91¶ÌÊÓÆµ Transfer Admission Agreement (TAA) by the TAA deadline of March  15.

  • Awardees must have completed a minimum of 30 transferable semester units (or equivalent) when applying for admission 
  • Awardees must have a minimum 3.3 cumulative grade point average when applying for admission
  • All students who have an approved Transfer Admission Agreement and complete an 91¶ÌÊÓÆµ transfer admission application by the admission application deadline will automatically be awarded the 91¶ÌÊÓÆµ Transfer Scholarship
  • Awards: range from $5,000 to $10,000 per academic year
  • Renewable for up to three (3) academic years in consecutive quarters (not including summer sessions)
  • Students who have been awarded scholarships from local Bay Area community-based organizations (CBOs, 501c3) will receive up to $5,000 in additional matching funds per academic year and are renewable for up to three (3) academic years in consecutive quarters (not including summer sessions)
  • FAFSA must be submitted in order to be considered
  • Must meet satisfactory academic progress
  • Full-time enrollment and any other renewal criteria
  • Coordinated with federal, state and other University aid

  • Minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.4
