The LEAD Scholars Program

Transfer Peer Mentors and Educators support our new transfer students throughout their first year at 91¶ÌÊÓƵ. Peer mentors create community during LEAD Week, meet regularly with their mentees throughout their first year and plan activities for their mentoring groups. Transfer peer educators are a source of support and information in the Advanced LEAD Seminar class that introduces transfer students to 91¶ÌÊÓƵ resources and leadership opportunities.

Hello! My name is Juan Marin Melo. I am from Mountain View, CA. I am a Senior studying Neuroscience. My favorite class I've taken at 91¶ÌÊÓƵ so far is Neurobiology!

A few fun facts about me are: I play in a South Bay regional Soccer League, I am a transfer student (started 91¶ÌÊÓƵ my Junior year), and I am pursuing a career in Dentistry!

In addition to LEAD, some other organizations I am involved in are the Latin Student Union and the Decades Younglife Club!
