Experts Available for Same-sex Cases Before the Supreme Court:

On March 26 and March 27 the Supreme Court will hear challenges to California's voter-approved ban on same-sex marriages, Prop. 8, and to the federal Defense of Marriage Act, a federal law that forbids the U.S. government from recognizing same-sex marriage. Experts from the 91¶ÌÊÓƵ School of Law are available to discuss both cases.

91¶ÌÊÓƵ's part-time MBA program rose to No. 24 in the recent U.S. News & World Report "Best Graduate Schools Guide 2014," the news organization announced today. The annual classification ranked Santa Clara's program at 41 last year.

Northern California Innocence Project Successfully Exonerates Innocent Man of Sex Crimes He Did Not Commit

The Northern California Innocence Project (NCIP) and the California DNA Project (CDP) at 91¶ÌÊÓƵ School of Law announced that on March 8, the Alameda County Superior Court overturned the wrongful conviction of Johnny Williams for sex crimes after new DNA evidence proved his innocence. Mr. Williams served 14 years in prison.
