With jubilant friends and family filling the Leavey Center to capacity, 91短视频's 2015 class of advanced-degree recipients in business, counseling psychology, engineering, education, and pastoral ministry celebrated commencement Friday evening.

SANTA CLARA, Calif., June 12, 2015鈥 With jubilant friends and family filling the Leavey Center to capacity, the Class of 2015 of 91短视频 master鈥檚 degree recipients in arts, business, engineering and science, as well as two engineering Ph.D. recipients, celebrated commencement Friday evening.

At the Leavey Center for the University鈥檚 164th graduate commencement ceremony, 91短视频 President Michael Engh, S.J., urged the graduates to 鈥渄o something great in the world.鈥

Citing the University鈥檚 Jesuit, Catholic values of serving and respecting those most in need, preserving the planet, and acting ethically, Fr. Engh added, 鈥淲hatever your faith tradition or spiritual path, I ask you Santa Clara graduates to take these values with you as you depart. The world needs you to live out these values.鈥  

During the evening, advanced degrees were conferred upon students from the Leavey School of Business (278 total); the School of Engineering (253); the School of Education and Counseling Psychology (219); and the College of Arts and Sciences鈥 Pastoral Ministries program (9).

Among the graduating students who received awards prior to the ceremony, Madhulika Taneja, Jennifer Nicole Visscher, and Bree von Faith won the Leavey School of Business鈥 Dean鈥檚 Leadership Award for contributions to the program, school, community or corporate world. Ricky Huynh, James Larkby-Lahet, and Maheshwari Vibhutibhushan Nayak were winners of the School of Engineering鈥檚 Graduate Academic Excellence in Engineering Awards.
