2026 Undergraduate Commencement Events
Friday, May 29, 2026:
- Class of 2026 Awards and Senior Toast, 4:00 p.m., Mission Gardens
Friday, June 12, 2026:
- Commencement Liturgy, 4:00 p.m., Mission Santa Clara de Asís
- Grad Bash, 5:30 p.m., Bellomy Field
Saturday, June 13, 2026:
- Undergraduate Commencement, 8:30 a.m., Stevens Stadium
- Undergraduate Faculty Reception, immediately following the ceremony, St. Ignatius and Daly Science Lawns

UNDERGRADUATE COMMENCEMENT - JUNE 13, 8:30 AM
91¶ÌÊÓÆµ will host a single Commencement ceremony for undergraduates in the College of Arts and Sciences, the Leavey School of Business, and the School of Engineering in Stevens Stadium. Dee Dee Myers, political analyst and former White House Press Secretary, will be addressing the Class of 2026. For more information on Ms. Myers, read the press release.
COMMENCEMENT REGISTRATION VIA TASSEL
You will receive an email later this afternoon from commencement@scu.edu granting you access to 91¶ÌÊÓÆµ's Commencement registration system, Tassel. Tassel is your Commencement hub where you will register to participate, confirm the phonetic pronunciation of your name, and claim your guest tickets. You may access your Tassel account as often as needed between now and Commencement week.
The deadline to register to participate in Commencement is Sunday, May 17 at 11:59 p.m. (Your registration can be submitted without claiming your guest tickets. See guest ticket information below).
COMMENCEMENT STAGE PASS (For Graduates)
- Each registered graduate will be issued a Stage Pass via Tassel. This Stage Pass is required for entry into the ceremony and will be scanned before you cross the stage in order for your name to be read aloud.
- Stage Passes will be made available in your Tassel portal starting Wednesday, May 20. You will also receive an email with Commencement line-up instructions on this date.
- Graduates should take a screenshot AND bring a printed copy of their Stage Pass to the ceremony.
COMMENCEMENT GUEST TICKETS
Starting Monday, April 6, you will have the ability to register, claim, and distribute guest tickets in Tassel.
- Each graduate will receive eight (8) guest tickets. Graduates have the option to modify all eight (8) guest tickets up until Thursday, June 11 by logging into their Tassel account. Graduates do not need a guest ticket.
- Guest tickets are required for entry into Stevens Stadium and each have their own unique QR code. Duplicate scans of the same QR code will not be permitted.
- Guests should save a screenshot of their ticket, or bring a printed copy. We also encourage guests to add an electronic copy of their ticket(s) to their mobile wallet.
- If you need additional guest tickets, we recommend checking with other graduates to see if they have tickets they will not be using. Graduates can easily transfer tickets digitally, via Tassel, to classmates in need of additional tickets. The Commencement Office is unable to provide additional tickets to graduates and does not manage a waitlist for extra tickets. Children two and under do not require a ticket to Commencement.

CLASS OF 2026 AWARDS & SENIOR TOAST - MAY 29
Graduating Seniors are invited to attend the Senior Toast on Friday, May 29 at 4:00 p.m. in the Mission Gardens. The Senior Toast brings together the Class of 2026 to celebrate the impressive accomplishments of graduating seniors. University Award recipients will be announced and a blessing and toast will be offered to our graduates. An outdoor reception will follow the brief awards ceremony. We look forward to celebrating with you! An email invitation will be sent in late April.
COMMENCEMENT LITURGY - JUNE 12
Graduates and their families are invited to participate in 91¶ÌÊÓÆµ’s Commencement Liturgy, one of the most joyful moments of Commencement Weekend. Worship with fellow graduates and give thanks for your special time at Santa Clara on Friday, June 12 at 4:00 p.m. in 91¶ÌÊÓÆµ's historic Mission Santa Clara de Asís. Please let us know if you intend to join us at the Liturgy by Tickets are not required for this event and all are welcome to attend.
GRAD BASH - JUNE 12
Celebrate your last night as an 91¶ÌÊÓÆµ student with your classmates, family, and the 91¶ÌÊÓÆµ Alumni Association! With your help, Grad Bash will light up Bellomy Field from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. immediately following the Commencement Liturgy. Tickets go on sale on Monday, April 13 at 10:00 a.m. and are free for graduates! Tickets for guests are $60 per person. Children ages 3 to 12 years old are $15, and children 2 and under are free. Tickets include a reserved table, food, drinks, dancing, games, live music, and more. Kick off your next chapter in style and experience what it means to be a Bronco for life! UNDERGRADUATE FACULTY RECEPTION - JUNE 13
Directly following the Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony, the Provost’s Office will host a reception for faculty, students, and their families to celebrate their success! The Faculty Reception will take place on the St. Ignatius and Daly Science Lawns. Light refreshments will be served. Tickets are not required for this event and all are welcome to attend.

COMMENCEMENT PROGRAM
The names of all graduates deemed eligible to participate in Commencement by Thursday, April 30 at 5:00 p.m. will be automatically included in the 2026 Commencement Program. To have your name omitted from the program, please fill out and submit the by Thursday, April 30.
91¶ÌÊÓÆµ’s digital Commencement program will be available for download and viewing on the Commencement website in early June. Guests attending Commencement will be able to access the digital program via QR code, which will be provided upon arrival to Stevens Stadium. A printed program will be placed on each graduate’s seat at the Commencement ceremony.
ACADEMIC ATTIRE
Academic Attire should be ordered online from and will be shipped directly to you. The deadline to order attire is Monday, May 11 to ensure that you receive it in time for your ceremony.

Important Reminders:
- The Commencement ceremony and stage crossing will be live streamed and posted on the Commencement Website.
- Graduates who have achieved honors status will receive an email detailing honor cord pick-up instructions in late April.
Important 2026 Commencement Dates/Deadlines:
- April 6 - Commencement registration begins in Tassel
- April 13 - Grad Bash tickets go on sale at 10:00 a.m.
